Mansin Ok readings are for entertainment and personal reflection only.
Mansin Ok is a fictional character in a Korean ghost tale. The readings on this site are generated automatically by software from the date, time and place of birth you enter, using the traditional Korean Four Pillars (saju) system and astronomical solar-term calculations. No person reads your chart, and no supernatural ability is claimed.
A reading is not medical, psychological, legal, financial or professional advice, and it does not predict specific events with certainty. Do not make important decisions about your health, money, relationships or safety based on a reading. If you are in distress or in danger, please contact your local emergency services or a qualified professional.
This site is operated by Beautiful-sky (아름다운 하늘), a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea (business registration number 402-42-00791). By using the site you agree to these terms.
Each paid reading is a personalized digital report generated instantly by software and shown on screen after payment. It is a digital product, not a consultation or a live service.
The full reading is sold at an opening price of US$6.99 until Mansin Ok has read 1,000 fates, as shown by the counter on the site. After that the price becomes US$9.99. The full reading for two (Gunghap) is US$7.99 and the 2027 year reading is US$4.99, both at opening prices that may change. Each purchase opens only the reading it was bought for. Taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you live.
You buy from Beautiful-sky (아름다운 하늘). Payments are processed securely by PayPal. You can pay with a PayPal account or with a debit or credit card through PayPal's checkout. Prices are in US dollars. PayPal's own terms also apply to the payment.
You must be 18 or older, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to buy a reading.
Your reading depends on the birth details you enter. Please check them before submitting. A reading made from wrong details can be corrected as described in the Refund Policy.
The text, images, video, audio and design of this site belong to Beautiful-sky (아름다운 하늘). You may share screenshots of your own reading for personal, non-commercial use.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make based on a reading. Our total liability for any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it.
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without limiting any consumer rights you have where you live.
Your reading is a digital product delivered instantly on screen. Part of it is free to see before you buy, so you can decide whether you want the rest. Once your full reading has been delivered, purchases are final and not refundable.
The only exceptions:
By completing your purchase, you agree that your reading is delivered immediately and that you lose any right to cancel once it has been delivered. Refunds, where they apply, are paid through PayPal to your original payment method. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.
Your birth date, birth time, birthplace and sex are used to calculate your reading. The calculation runs inside your own browser. We do not store these details on our servers.
When you compare your chart with another person's, you enter their birth date, and optionally their birth time, birthplace and a name or nickname. These details are read only inside your own browser to draw the comparison. They are never sent to our servers, never stored by us, and are gone when you close or reload the page. The bond card you can save shows only the two day pillars and the name you typed, never a birth date. If you buy the full reading for two, both sets of details are sent to our server when you pay and when the reading opens. The server immediately turns them into a one-way code that cannot be turned back into birth details, keeps only that code, and discards the details themselves. Your browser keeps your key under another one-way code so the reading reopens on this device. Please only enter someone else's details if you are comfortable that they would not mind.
PayPal collects your payment details to process your order and sends you its own receipt. We receive the PayPal order number, the amount and the payment status, and PayPal's records of the order may show us your name and email address so we can help with refunds. We never see your full card details. After payment, our server gives you a Mansin Ok key (it starts with MO-), shown on screen and written into the PayPal order as its invoice number.
Our server keeps your key with a record of which reading it was bought for and one-way codes made from the birth details it has opened (one key opens its reading for up to two births or devices). The codes cannot be turned back into your birth details. Your birth details themselves are sent to our server only to make that code and are not stored. Your key, and the birth details of your own last reading, are also saved in your own browser so your reading reopens on the same device without typing anything again. They stay on your device and are not sent to us. You can clear it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Each time a reading is made, we add one to an anonymous counter (the number of fates Mansin Ok has read). The counter contains no personal information.
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It keeps your key in your browser's local storage only to reopen your reading. When you pay, PayPal's checkout may set its own cookies to process the payment securely.
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us. We keep order records only as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.
